ATHENS. EODY announced 262 confirmed new cases and 40 deaths on Saturday 2 January but no new cases in Corfu.

Corfu Hospital ready to start vaccinations
CORFU. It was initially announced that vaccinations for the hospital personnel would begin on Monday 4 January. This may well happen but the latest directions are still being awaited - possibly during the weekend.

When vaccination is planned to begin in Corfu
CORFU. The President of the Panhellenic Federation of Public Hospital Workers (POEDHN) Michalis Yiannakos explained to Ethnos newspaper why so few health workers (40%) have said they want to be vaccinated.
