ATHENS. EODY announced 342 confirmed new cases and 53 deaths on Sunday 27 December including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 342 confirmed new cases today. 22 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 135,456, of which 52.4% are males. 5,343 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 40,024 (29.5%) are connected with known cases.
469 patients - 150 female, 319 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 80.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 857 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 53 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,606. 1,868 (40.6%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
