ATHENS. EODY announced 476 confirmed new cases and 66 deaths on Monday 28 December including 2 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 476 confirmed new cases today. 8 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 135,931, of which 52.4% are males. 5,356 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 40,165 (29.5%) are connected with known cases.
467 patients - 146 female, 321 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 80.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 862 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 66 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,672. 1,899 (40.6%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
