CORFU. A total of 36 fines were issued in Corfu and another 18 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 30 December.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 30 December fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 15 people in Corfu, 3 in Lefkada, 3 in Cephalonia and 2 in Zakynthos.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 21 in Corfu, 7 in Zakynthos and 3 in Cephalonia.
