CORFU. A total of 31 fines were issued in Corfu and another 13 in the other Ionian Islands on Monday 28 December.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 28 December fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 10 people in Corfu, 5 in Cephalonia and 1 in Zakynthos.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 21 in Corfu, 6 in Zakynthos and 1 in Lefkada.
