CORFU. Concerns following the admission to hospital of Covid patients from Liapades proved to be justified with 4 positive tests in the village on Thursday.
A team from EODY was in Liapades today, New Year's Eve, following the admission of locals diagnosed with Covid-19 to the Infectious Diseases Unit at the hospital.
220 samples were tested and 4 of them came out positive. The 4 cases were asked to isolate and they will be tested again in a week's time.
According to EODY, 46 samples were also tested when a team visited Agios Markos but all of them were negative.
