ATHENS. EODY announced 1,047 confirmed new cases and 58 deaths on Tuesday 29 December including 3 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,047 confirmed new cases today. 16 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 136,976, of which 52.3% are males. 5,380 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 40,566 (29.6%) are connected with known cases.
458 patients - 140 female, 318 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 80.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 877 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 58 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,730. 1,923 (40.7%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
