ATHENS. EODY announced 942 confirmed new cases and 58 deaths on Wednesday 30 December but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 942 confirmed new cases today. 22 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 137,918, of which 52.3% are males. 5,412 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 40,963 (29.7%) are connected with known cases.
443 patients - 142 female, 301 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 79.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 885 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 58 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,788. 1,948 (40.7%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
