CORFU. The unjustifiable and unprovoked attack against an ambulance crew who had been called out to provide assistance has caused sadness and disgust.
A complaint was filed by the Corfu EKAB Workers' Union for an attack against an
ambulance crew.
In their statement they stated the following: “The unjustifiable and unprovoked attack against an ambulance crew who had been called out to provide assistance with injuries resulting from a road accident early on Saturday morning (3/7) has caused us both sadness and disgust.
The EKAB Workers' Union strongly condemns such behaviour and expresses its full
support for the legal proceedings that have been brought for our colleagues’
protection and the exemplary punishment of such behaviour.”
