Attack in broad daylight in Corfu Town centre

There was a report of attack this afternoon, a few minutes after 17:00. An eye witness told Enimerosi that a man - well-dressed according to witnesses - attacked and kicked another man in San Rocco Square.

Although it is a busy part of town, only two people stopped to find out what was going on. The attacker replied that he had been robbed of a large amount of money.

The person who was attacked was lying on the ground bleeding without his pants.

One of the two eye witnesses called the police. Police sources confirmed the call, but said that although the patrol car arrived within minutes, it did not find either of the two.
