Another Corfu business closed down for 2 weeks by police

CORFU. Police closed down a catering business for 15 days yesterday and imposed a fine of €5,000.
Along with the temporary closure of the business and the fine the owner was also arrested for violation of the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
During a check by the joint Trade Department and Corfu Regional team it was found that the catering business did not maintain the proper customer/area ratio.
The owner was fined 5,000 Euros and the business closed down for two weeks.
Party in Zakynthos
In another case in Zakynthos a foreign national was found to have organised an outdoor party which was in violation of the temporary prohibition of outdoor events to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The charges against both those arrested will be passed on to the relevant Prosecutors.
