Municipality taking action at problem spots in town

In a press release the Corfiot & Diapontian Municipality says that crews are working on a daily basis to deal with everyday problems that the public has to face.
In recent days the Municipality has been doing the following:
- Improvement works at the 12th Primary School and Special Needs School.
- Cleaning up the Kotsela ditch - which had been neglected for several years.
- Cleaning and washing the public areas of the open-air market - the fourth time in just a few days.
- Repair work at the children's playground in Mantouki.
- Road repairs and filling up potholes in various neighbourhoods.
The Deputy Mayor for Technical Works Nikos Kalogeros said that, in collaboration with the Archaeological Services and OTE, thay also laid optical fibre lines so that they wouldn't have to dig up the road again in the future once it had been surfaced.
