CORFU. There was a meeting in Vraganiotika with local councillors from South Corfu along with municipal and regional councillors.
There was a meeting on Sunday 14 October in the Vraganiotika Cultural Society hall with local councillors from South Corfu and municipal and regional councillors to discuss the division of Corfu Municipality.
Information was presented about the new 'Cleisthenes' legislation but the main discussion was about the possible creation of a separate municipality in South Corfu.
The Presidents of the local councils promised to meet with their councils so that there can be another meeting next Sunday which will include the views of all the local councillors in the south.
