Corfu Municipality to receive 435,000 Euros from Property and Advertising Taxes

ATHENS. The total share due to Corfu Municipality from the Ministry of the Interior is 434,620 Euros following the signature of the Minister Alexis Haritsis.
The amount comes from two sources in the Income Budget for the 2018 financial year.
165,820 Euros comes from "Income from other taxes and services" and "Property Tax - 15% allocation" (it is stated that "At least 50% of this income must be made available to carry out works, pay compensation for demolished or expropriated property and purchase of property with the remainder being used to cover other needs")
The other 268,800 Euros comes from "Other Regular Income" and "Advertising Tax - Category 4".
On the order of the Ministry they will be paid into the Deposit and Loans Fund.
The total amounts to be distributed to the 325 Municipalities throughout Greece come to 18m and 26m - a total of 44m Euros.
One of these Municipalities is, of course, Paxos, which will receive 12,040 Euros (6,350 + 5,690).
