Golden Caps: Top Restaurant Awards for chef Botrinis and Etrusco Restaurant

Ektoros Botrinis, owner of restaurants in Athens and Corfu, was awarded the Golden Cap and the Corfu ‘Etrusco’ restaurant won 2 Caps for the 6^th year in succession as the best restaurant in Greece with 17/20 points.

Golden Caps are awarded to restaurants with 15/20 points and above. This year for the first time there will be separate awards exclusively for Greek Cuisine – ‘Greek Cuisine Awards’ – which will be presented at a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Thessaloniki on 20^th March.

The official dinner at the Awards Ceremony was prepared by five talented Greek chefs from award-winning restaurants abroad:

Thanos Feskos (Geranium, Copenhagen), Giorgos Papazacharias (Maaemo, Oslo), Michalis Papafilis (Epicure, Paris), Philipos Chronopoulos (Restaurant du Palais Royal, Paris) and Giorgos Kataras (Geranium, Copenhagen).
