Venetian Well and Etrusco amongst the top 100 restaurants in Greece 2018

CORFU. The Awards Ceremony for the 100 Top Restaurants in Greece took place on Monday 15 October in the amphitheatre of the Michalis Kakoyiannis Foundation.
The two Corfu restaurants Venetian Well and Etrusco were included in the top 100.
Every year 100 opinion leaders and trendsetters from the fields of gastronomy, the media, business, politics, the arts and lifestyle name their favourite eating places. In this way, the top 100 restaurants for 2018 were chosen.
Following are some of the members of the judges' panel:
Makis Pounentis - presenter and radio producer, Jenny Melita - journalist and presenter, Idra Kayne - singer, Spyros Margaritis - TV & Radio host, Dimitris Makalias - actor, Visarion Parthenis - Chef, Haris Davlas - PR manager, Nikos Nasioutzik - businessman, Eliana Chrisikopoulou - journalist, Alexandra Daskalopoulou - owner of En Lefko, Giorgos Tsabourakis - Actor.
Pluralism is one of the basic aspects of the Restaurant 100 Awards, which showcase the favourite eating places of foodies, whatever their profession. Another aspect of the awards is that voters have complete freedom to choose whichever restaurant they want without having a list to choose from.
The Restaurant 100 Awards 2018 includes new categories - this year the following are included: Top 10 Ethnic Cuisine Restaurants, Top 10 Restaurants for Fish, Top 10 Restaurants for Meat and Top 10 Street Food.
There are also two new individual awards - Game Changer and Best Young Sommelier.
Restaurant 100 Awards is organized by Hotel & Restaurant (Boussias Communications) and sponsored by Unilever Food Solutions.
