CORFU. Former Deputy Mayor Noni Mastora, aged 54, died on Thursday morning following her brave battle with cancer.
She fought bravely with cancer for almost a year. Noni Mastora, who was Deputy Mayor under the Nikolouzos administration, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday morning at the age of 54. She had been admitted to the Evaggelismos Hospital in a comatose state on Wednesday night.
She served in local government and volunteerism in various positions, in the Central Corfu and Single Corfu Municipality and in the Diapontia Islands as Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Othoni and Mathraki. She was also a member of the Equality Committee and the Hellenic Red Cross.
