CORFU. Following the lawsuit filed by Anemomylos Cultural Society, police have been investigating the matter and, if the ΄revelation΄ is proved to be correct, then it seems that the perpetrators are still on the island.
On Monday evening Enimerosi received an e-mail claiming to reveal the identity of those that had vandalised the wall in Mourayia.
The link provided was for an English-language Corfu Page which is against the vandalism of monuments and other public places on the island. The Page claims that the perpetrators are three tourists who are staying in rented accommodation in Liapades and Kanalia and provides names and addresses! Graffiti which appeared in Liapades and other parts of the islands is linked with that which appeared on the wall in Spilia.
Anemomylos Cutural Society filed a lawsuit against persons unknown on Monday for the graffiti on the north wall in Mourayia.
Police have since been investigating the matter and, if the 'revelation' is proved to be correct, then it seems that the perpetrators have not yet left the island!
