CORFU. Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
A 56-year-old man is accused of causing bodily harm through negligence. He had placed arcade-style games in a hotel in Agios Georgios Argyrades, which people paid to use.
On Wednesday, May 22, a German couple went to Corfu Police Station and reported that their 9-year-old grandson had been electrocuted while playing on the 56-year-old's electronic games. The child was taken to hospital, stayed overnight, and was discharged the next day.
The 56-year-old man was arrested, charged with causing bodily harm through negligence, and then released.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
