Employment Minister to hand over last council houses

CORFU. Employment Minister Kostis Hatzidakis & OAED Director Spyros Protopsaltis will be in Corfu on Thursday 26 August.
Corfu ND MP Stefanos Gikas made the following announcement:
“On Thursday 26 August in the morning, in the presence of the Employment Minister Kostis Hatzidakis – whom I particularly thank – and of course in the presence of OAED Director Spyros Protopsaltis, the last 12 council houses in Agios Ioannis will be handed over.
Thus, the handing over of the 176 council houses will be completed and the waiting will come to an end; years of waiting for those eligible for a council house in Agios Ioannis...
Of course, there is still a lot to be done, especially regarding the permanent solution to the sewage problem plus other issues...”
