Official opening of Angsana Corfu with Deputy Minister of Tourism

This year's tourist season in Corfu has opened and national, regional and local representatives were present at Friday evening's official opening. The opening of the new resort is yet another indication that tourism on the island is changing with the emphasis not on quantity but quality of services offered.





After years of renovation work, the Angsana Resort - formerly the San Stefanos Hotel - near Benitses officially opened on Friday







The Deputy Minister for Tourism Sophia Zaharaki was present at the opening along with representatives from the regional and local authorities as well as local businesses and tourism professionals.
