No school parades on 25th March this year

ATHENS. There will be no school parades for the 25th March to avoid gatherings of people.
Government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni announced that there will be no school parades this year due to Covid.
"The pandemic is still with us and most cases are now in the age range 20 - 50, mainly due to people moving around and gathering together," she said.
Ms. Peloni said that there will only be armed forces parades for the 25th March Independence Day celebrations. These will follow all the necessary health measures and will be broadcast on TV.
"The only thing that I can tell you is that these will be high-quality, proud spectacles," she added. In reply to a question as to whether Prince Charles and French President Macron will be present at the celebrations, she said that this will depend on the pandemic situation.
