CORFU. The team is using its Nansen vessel.
The Corfu branch of the Hellenic Rescue Team is taking part in the search and rescue operation for the immigrants whose boat sank after taking in water 13 nautical miles southwest of Paxos.
Up to now, 12 bodies have been recovered and 21 have been rescued and taken to Preveza. The operation is continuing, with at least another 20 not yet accounted for.
