CORFU. On Saturday 2 December, in the foyer of the Corfu Municipal Theatre, there will be an event dedicated to Cyprus, called ‘Venus’ Island’.
Missing 84-year-old from Lefkimmi found dead
CORFU. An 84-year-old man from Lefkimmi, who had been missing, was found dead yesterday evening in a steep and almost inaccessible area of the countryside.
Voluntary blood donation on 5 December – organized by Equal Society
CORFU. Tuesday 5 December is International Volunteer Day and the NGO Equal Society is setting up a ‘blood bank’ in the Evg. Voulgareos St. pedestrian precinct from 10am – 1pm for voluntary blood donation – the 5th year that they have done so in Corfu.
