CORFU. Corfu Recyclable Waste Sorting Centre (KDAY) is once again (since Monday 9th July) under the management of RecyclingWorks ΙΚΕ, owned by G & S Lavranos, who also managed the Centre from 2006 to 2016.

Temploni cells closed down permanently: Solid Waste Management Organization fined
CORFU. The decision to close down the three cells (A, B & C) at Temploni landfill came from the Ionian Islands Regional Governor on the recommendation of the responsible department. Administrative penalties and fine were also imposed on SYDISA.

Temploni residents lodge new criminal complaint
CORFU. Temploni Cultural Society lodged a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor Ms. Tataki on Wednesday against the Solid Waste Management Organization (SYDISA) and the contractor responsible for the management of the facility.
