Temploni residents lodge new criminal complaint

CORFU. Temploni Cultural Society lodged a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor Ms. Tataki on Wednesday against the Solid Waste Management Organization (SYDISA) and the contractor responsible for the management of the facility.
The complaint cites the depositing of mixed waste in the composting area which is on the first level by the baler and processor. The Society also cites the uprooting of olive trees without permission on the land that was recently lent by the Charity Board for temporary use by SYDISA. The land, which is located adjacent to the landfill, is approximately 1.2 acres in area.
