Temploni Green Spot to reopen

CORFU. Temploni Cultural Society Green Spot will be reopening on Friday 8 May.
The Recycling Centre will be open every Monday and Friday between 18:00 and 20:00. In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus there will be rules for everyone's safety.
1. The maximum number of visitors and/or volunteers at one time is 10. We ask you to remain in your car until you are given permission by someone who will be controlling the numbers of people entering.
2. The use of personal protection equipment and gloves is obligatory.
3. The bags of recyclable materials will be more than 2 metres apart and no more than one person can use the same bag.
4. In order to ensure that the procedure is quick and smooth and you remainin the area for as short a time as possible please separate the recyclable materials beforehand. VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU.
5. Masks and gloves, just as any kind of medical waste, are not to be dumped in the recyclable materials. If this is seen to happen then they will be returned along with the recyclable materials.
6. Do not leave bags outside the centre - they will not be opened by volunteers and so will end up in the green bins.
We would like to remind you that we accept paper, glass, plastic, metal, aluminium from food tins that are completely clean and washed as well as batteries, lightbulbs, small appliances and cooking oil.
We would like to thank you in advance for following the new rules and your help in ensuring the Green Spot is able to operate once again in the proper way.
