Man, 25, arrested for Agios Markos fire

CORFU. A storage space and 500 square metres of reeds were burned in Central Corfu.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, after causing a fire through negligence while attempting to burn reeds and dry grass remnants from crops. The fire ended up burning down a storage space and approximately 500 square metres of reeds in Central Corfu. The prosecutor was informed, and an administrative fine was also imposed.
