Dionysis Politis (68) was lying lifeless, with multiple stab wounds on his body when the ambulance service arrived at his home in Perama. The paramedics responded immediately to the call made to 166, but there was nothing left for them to do. The house was in disarray, as if a struggle had taken place. The call to 166 was made around 3:30 in the early morning hours by their 11-year-old daughter.
Shortly before the afternoon, she confessed to the crime. Earlier, the police had found a bag with bloody clothes and the knife in the rubbish outside the house.
