CORFU. Aerial and ground forces are involved in the firefighting operation.
A fire broke out at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday in a grassy area in Akrokefalo, Temploni caused by a DEI pylon, according to the Fire Department.

Aerial forces are in operation, specifically a PZL airplane and the Agusta Bell helicopter, along with ground forces consisting of 21 firefighters, five fire engines from the Fire Department and two from the municipality.
Winds are blowing at the location, which is why aerial intervention was deemed necessary.
UPDATE (3:00 p.m.):
The fire is starting to be contained, as the intervention of the Agusta Bell helicopter played a significant role.
Seven stremma of grassland have been burnt.
