Agios Markos Cultural Society donates bookshelves to primary school

The principal, teachers and pupils expressed their warm thanks to Agios Markos Cultural Society for the gift of three sets of bookshelves to the primary school:

"Your valuable gift will help us greatly in our work and support the education we are providing. Your donation shows your awareness of the needs of the school. It is especially important at this time to support state schools and be part of the common effort focussing on the child and the modern school that we all have as a vision.

We owe you a great debt of gratitude and we encourage these acts which demonstrate social awareness and the meaning of giving and at the same time offer an important lesson to the pupils with regard to social responsibility and giving selflessly.

We would also like to thank the parent Ioannis Koskinas for offering his services free to set up the bookshelves."
