Reggeborgh Invest B.V. donates equipment to Corfu Hospital
CORFU. The donation was signed off by the company and the hospital on Tuesday 19 November.
Reggeborgh Invest B.V. has donated medical equipment to support the reopening of the Maternity Ward, as well as to enhance the operations of the Ophthalmology and Cardiology Departments of the hospital.
The donation agreement between the company and Corfu General Hospital was signed on Tuesday, November 19. The Donation Agreement includes the provision of complete equipment for the Maternity Ward (surgical table, anaesthetic machine, patient monitors, examination beds, incubators etc.), as well as essential equipment for the Ophthalmology Department (automatic keratometer-refractometer, five-magnification slit lamp, phoropter, etc.) and the Cardiology Department (expansion of a wired network for patient vital signs monitoring and a wireless telemetry network).
The value of the medical equipment amounts to €334,658, excluding VAT.
In a statement, the Hospital Administration expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the donor company Reggeborgh Invest B.V. and to the Wessels / Holterman family for their invaluable contribution to the Hospital's mission and their support in providing high-quality medical services to the Corfu community.
