CORFU. Water pipes were burst by a digger being used for resurfacing work.
Houses and shops in St. Desyllas St. and Ger. Markora St. in the centre of town are without water this morning.
DEYAK crews are working to repair the damage to pipes caused by a digger being used for resurfacing work.
There has been a problem with water supply in Desyllas St. since yesterday and another pipe was damaged in Markora St. today and a large section will have to be replaced.
According to DEYAK, the water supply is expected to return to normal by 13:00-14:00 this afternoon.
