DEYAK: 10-hour water supply outage on Monday night, 21 September

DEYAK informs consumers that on Monday, 21 September, there will be a general water supply outage in the town and suburbs, from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 22 September.

The outage is necessary to repair damage to the pipeline connecting the Chrysiida springs with the Analipsi water tanks, as well as two serious faults in the main distribution pipeline. Due to the age of the network, the tanks must be completely emptied.

Until Monday, pressure problems may occur, particularly at night. Full restoration in higher-lying areas may be delayed due to the time required to refill and vent the pipelines. The crews will make every effort to restore the supply as quickly as possible.
