More systems will be installed by the Ionian Islands Region in two more Corfu beaches, as well as in the other Regional Units.
CORFU. The Ionian Islands Region installed on Tuesday 10 August, 2021, at Benitses beach the ‘SEATRACK – No Barrier’ system, in order to help people with mobility problems.
This Seatrack system, which allows people with mobility problems to enjoy the sea during summer, is one of the three that will be installed in Corfu this year, since a corresponding installation on two more beaches of the island will follow.
At the same time, the Ionian Islands Region has planned the installation of such systems – with modern and quality services – for bathers with mobility problems in the other Regional Units as well.
Deputy Regional Governor for Public Health, Social Welfare & Employment Kostas Zorbas was present during the installation of the ‘SEATRACK - No Barrier’ system at Benitses beach, next to the marina.
