Trial of Archbishop Nektarios to continue on Wednesday 21 October

CORFU. The second case against Nektarios, Archbishop of Corfu, Paxos & Diapontia Islands will continue on Wednesday at 09:00 - The Prosecutor requested his acquittal for one of the two cases.
The trial of Nektarios, Archbishop of Corfu, Paxos & Diapontia Islands, accused of violating the safety measures for the coronavirus pandemic, ended for the day just before 15:00 on Monday 19 October.
The trial will continue at 09:00 on Wednesday 21 October.
The Prosecutor has already proposed that the Archbishop be acquitted in one case - that during his sermon at a service on 25 March he encouraged believers to say that they were going out for exercise and then to go to church. The court said that they would reserve judgement on that until after the other case has been tried.
