Central Corfu Municipality continues maintenance and improvement work.

CORFU. Municipal crews are continuing their work to improve residents΄ daily lives coordinated by Deputy Mayor Haris Yiotis.
Work being carried out includes:
- Maintaining green areas in Mantouki and planting of 46 new trees.
- Lighting in Garitsa Park.
- New pedestrian crossings outside schools.
- Cutting of trees that are a danger to pedestrians and cars.
- Improving the area outside the 12th Primary School.
- Cleaning up the cemetery.
- Road surface repairs in various areas of the Municipality.
In a Municipal press release Mayor Meropi Ydraiou said: "The battle to improve daily lives is being won with actions, care and concern for the environment and the public. Corfu Town and other districts are becoming more beautiful and more human."
