CORFU. Municipal crews are continuing their work to try and improve the quality of residents΄ everyday life.
According to the Municipal press release: "Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands crews are working every day to improve the image of the town and the other districts."
Mayor Meropi Ydraiou said, "We are winning the battle to improve our everyday life with small but important jobs that are 'healing the old wounds'.
This week we have installed lighting at sports grounds, the clearing of ditches and channels to prevent problems of flooding is continuing and road surfaces are being repaired. Municipal crews continue to fill in potholes that are a danger to both drivers and pedestrians. The efforts are ongoing."
