Extra funding for Municipalities from Ministry of the Interior

ATHENS. The Ministry of the Interior is giving funding of 65m Euros to all the Municipalities including approximately 700,000 to the Corfu and Paxos Municipalities.
The Minister of the Interior Takis Theodorikakos has signed off on the funding of all the country's Municipalities with 65m Euros, which is an additional allocation from the Central Independent Municipal Funds.
The Ministry said that the funds are for operational and other general Municipal expenses.
The amounts to be given to the Corfu and Paxos Municipalities are as follows:
North Corfu - 126,522 Euros
Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands - 414,887 Euros
South Corfu - 99,214 Euros
Paxos - 31,804 Euros
