CORFU. The packages contained booklets about Islam - but the normal method of communicating the message wasn΄t used.
Those were the contents of the packages that were addressed to the university in Corfu and college in Argostoli (Cephalonia) - it seems that the sender wasn't aware that the two institutions have been consolidated.
In Argostoli two employees at the former Ionian College opened the package and found two booklets with an unknown website address.
The foresight of the staff at the Ionian University in Corfu meant that they didn't have so much trouble with the packages that have been in the news since Wednesday. When they saw the reports from the Aegean University on Thursday morning they were extremely careful and the employee who had gone to pick it up photographed the package, which seemed similar, and contacted his superiors from the Post Office. The procedure which has been previously reported then followed.
So the matter was resolved quickly in Corfu whereas in Argostoli the employees didn't get home until after 8 at night!
