Meeting of Greek and Georgian cultures in Corfu

CORFU. Sinies Educational and Cultural Society is organizing a two-day event: Meeting of Greek and Georgian Cultures in Corfu.
The event is being organized in collaboration with the Georgian Institute in Athens, Caucasus Cultural Centre, the Greek Olympians Association and the Georgian Embassy in Greece.
The following events have been planned over the two days:
Friday 30 November
A team of Olympic medal-winners, headed by the President of the Greek Olympians Association Voula Kozompoli, will visit schools in Corfu Town as well as Kassiopi and Acharavi to talk to pupils about the Olympic ideals and the sports for which they won medals.
Saturday 1 December
The Olympic medal-winners will visit Corfu Sports Centre in the morning.
In the evening there will be an awards ceremony for the Olympians at Corfu Primary followed by music and dance with Sinies Cultural Society, the Georgian Caucasus Cultural Centre, Corfu Dance Group, the Brass Ensemble and soprano Lia Kolita from the Ionian Music Academy as well as Sinies Cultural Society Choir. Admission to the events is free.
A delegation from the Georgian Embassy will also visit Corfu on Saturday, headed by the Chargé d'Affaires Κον Giorgi, who will visit the Municipality, the Regional Administration and the Chamber of Commerce.
