Serbian PM Djuro Macut in Corfu
CORFU. The Serbian PM is accompanied by a government delegation.
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Djuro Macut, along with a government delegation, is visiting Corfu to participate in events honouring the Serbian soldiers who fell during the 1916–1918 period.
On Wednesday, September 24, they will attend a ceremony organised by the Hellenic-Serbian Friendship Association in front of the Museum of Asian Art. The event will feature eight traditional ensembles from Serbia, two traditional ensembles from Corfu, and a performance by the Liapades Philharmonic Band.
The following morning, Thursday, September 25, the delegation will travel to Vidos Island to take part in the annual commemorative ceremonies, hosted by the Central Municipality of Corfu and the Serbian Embassy in Athens.
