Three arrested for electricity theft

CORFU. Another two people are still being sought.
Two men and a woman were arrested on Thursday morning, May 15, for electricity theft.
During targeted operations carried out in cooperation with an authorised crew from DEDDIE, police discovered that the three arrested individuals had made improvised connections to the electricity supply network at their homes in the Ropa Valley area, in order to illegally obtain electricity.
Additionally, case files for the same offence were filed against two more individuals, who are currently being sought.
The case files compiled against the offenders will be forwarded to the Corfu Prosecutor.
