Missing swimmer found

CORFU. The man, who had gone missing in Agios Ioannis Peristeron, was found on land and is in good health.
The information that a swimmer, a Belgian national, had gone missing in the sea off Agios Ioannis Peristeron beach caused concern yesterday. Searches were immediately launched to locate him, involving a patrol boat from the Hellenic Coast Guard, two private boats, and two Hellenic Coast Guard patrol vehicles.
The 62-year-old man was eventually found a little later on land, in good health.
