Missing tourist John Eagles, 87, found

CORFU. The operation to locate the missing person in Klimatia has concluded successfully.
87-year-old John Eagles, who had been missing since Wednesday, April 29, in the Klimatia area, was found safe a short while ago.
The elderly tourist was located by forces of the Hellenic Police at a spot near the area where he went missing. According to initial assessments, the 87-year-old is in good health and has been taken for the necessary medical examinations.

The mobilisation of the authorities and volunteer organisations was immediate and continuous throughout the three-day period. The search efforts were carried out in a coordinated manner with the participation of:

- Hellenic Rescue Team
- EMOAK Corfu
Conclusion of the search
With the missing person having been located, the search and rescue operation is now concluded. The involved agencies express their satisfaction with the positive outcome, which was achieved thanks to the cooperation of the authorities, volunteers, and the local community.
