Elderly woman pulled unconscious from sea at Ipsos beach

CORFU. The woman was spotted by bathers and rushed to hospital, where she regained consciousness several hours later. She remains hospitalised in serious condition.
There were moments of anguish on Monday morning at Ipsos beach when an elderly woman was pulled from the sea unconscious.
The incident was immediately noticed by other bathers who were nearby. They reacted quickly and alerted the ambulance service.
An ambulance arrived at the scene without delay, and paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital while making efforts to revive her. After several hours, the elderly woman regained consciousness.
She remains hospitalised in serious condition.
