Fewer than half of Corfu voters voted in second round of elections

CORFU. 10% fewer people voted in the second round compared to the first.
According to Ministry of Interior data, just 50,298 of those registered in Corfu voted on Sunday - 9,278 fewer than the 59,576 who voted in the first round in May.
This means that 43.9% of those registered didn't vote in the first round, which increased by almost 9.5% in the second round with 53.46% not voting.
So fewer than half of registered voters - 46.54% - took part in the elections on 25 June. The figure was 56.1% for the first round on 21 May.
