Himariotis elected mayor for South Corfu with 60.13%
CORFU. Himariotis is the new South Corfu mayor, having got 60.13% of the votes.
With 100% of the votes counted, Vassilis Himariotis has been elected as the new mayor in South Corfu with 60.13% as opposed to 39.87% for Kostas Lessis.
Himariotis managed to prevail in all three Municipal Units against the current mayor.
In Korissia he received 55.48% against 44.52%, in Lefkimmi 67.27% against 32.73%, and in Melitaio 56.92% against 43.08%.
Participation in the South Corfu election was 45.34%.
Με την ενσωμάτωση στο 100% των εκλογικών τμημάτων ο Β. Χειμαριώτης αναδείχθηκε νέος δήμαρχος στη Νότια Κέρκυρα με ποσοστό 60,13% έναντι 39,87% του Κώστα Λέσση.
Ο κ. Χεμαριώτης κατάφερε να επικρατήσει και στις τρεις Δημοτικές Ενότητες έναντι του σημερινού δημάρχου.
Συγκεκριμένα στην ΔΕ Κορισσίων έλαβε 55,48% έναντι 44,52%, στην ΔΕ Λευυκιμμαίων 67,27% έναντι 32,73% και στη ΔΕ Μελιτειέων 56,92% έναντι 43,08%.
Η συμμετοχή στη Νότια Κέρκυρα ανήλθε στο 45,34%.
