ATHENS. Find out full details on the Ministry for the Interior website regarding the procedures for Sunday΄s elections and the voting centres.

1. Which elections are being held and when?
On Sunday 26 May the following elections are being held:
European Elections
Regional Elections
Municipal Elections
Local Community Elections

2. Is voting compulsory?
According to law, the exercise of one's right to vote is compulsory.
In Greece the European Elections are being held at the same time as the first round of the Regional, Municipal and Local Community Elections on Sunday 26 May from 07:00 to 19:00.

3. Who are excused from voting?
Those for whom it is not compulsory to vote are foreign nationals, those aged over 70 and, for Regional, Municipal and Local Elections, those who are over 200km from their voting centre on the day of elections.

4. Where can I vote?
The votes take place in two adjacent sections (e.g. 123A, 123B).



5. How can I find out where I vote?
Voters can find out where they vote -
- From the Ministry for the Interior website www.ypes.gr
- Calling the Call Centre at 213 136 1500, Monday-Sunday, 09:00 - 17:00.
