A 46-year-old Greek was remanded in custody after a 33-year-old British woman reported him for rape. According to police sources, the incident took place on Monday (12/11) evening.
The British woman reported him immediately to the police, who were able to quickly arrest him. The accused man categorically denied the charge and said that there had been contact which was with the consent of both of them.
However, both the Prosecutor and magistrate decided that he should be remanded in custody.
